SIMRAN KAUR

The isometric view above shows a semi spherical room with 4 windows. The interior of the semi sphere is a pentagonal prism to create more surface area inside and connects to the interior region. There are 2 windows on both the lateral sides of the semi sphere to provide more visibility to the surroundings and indirect light. A rectangular window directly on the crown of the semi sphere for direct natural light to penetrate. Another window shaped like a star is added at the top for aesthetic purposes and to be used to look at the night sky.

The elevation view shows a clearer image of the star shaped window on top of the semi sphere and the symmetrical circular windows on the lateral sides made using a cylindrical prism. All three windows were made with the idea of clear visibility to the surrounding on the sides and above, with access for natural light to come inside. The solid lines in the center display the outline of the pentagonal prism room inside.

The side profile is a display of the semi sphere being cut from the center. The side shows one of the circular windows and the top shows half of the star and rectangular window. The curved walls are visible, with the sides and top made broad for durability. The exterior and interiors intersect with each other for more natural light to pass through and to sight the sky above.
