QI LEMUGE
I tried to create a space that feels similar to the Mongolian yurt inside the cube so I cut up a cylinder and a half sphere from the cube. And I also hoped that my building has some traumatic light effects in it.
Just as this section shows I wanted to have a dormer in my building. It is because I was really impressed by the light effect in the movie called Citizen Kane so I cut up a truncated pyramid that goes throughout the cube to get a dormer and a door. I thought when the light goes in through the dormer there would be a strong light bar between the door and the dormer. To make sure there would be enough light in my building anytime, I also cut up another to truncated pyramids to create several windows. One truncated pyramid that sits parallel to the edge of the cube, I hoped it would create a strong light bar on the wall that is opposite to it and move as time pass by.
I think this is the most interesting elevation of my building. I shows the door and a window of the building. Through the door, you can notice the light path in the building, which I think would be very interesting.
