The building is designed for specific characters (a family and an elderly) with the integration of shared space for the community. The building is located next to the community kitchen, hence a shared room space from inside the building is dedicated as the dining area of the community kitchen. The building also sits right next to the community ramp where it shares a balcony with the ramp.

The form of the building is based on 1 horizontal rectangle and 1 slanted rectangles, with some of the walls following the slanted rectangle lines, while others follow the horizontal rectangle lines. The first floor of the building dominantly follow the shape of the horizontal rectangle lines. The right side of the first floor is dedicated for the elderly character who lives in the building, the left side is the shared communal dining area of the community kitchen. The second floor dominantly follow the slanted rectangular shape. This area is the private space of the building, dedicated for the family of the elderly. On this floor, the centerline of the slanted rectangle breaks up as it reaches the interior of the building and creates a special moment of a space within a space that is used as the shared bathroom of the second floor. The ceiling height of the second floor expands as the space flows from private to shared. The axonometric image color codes the intended use of each space and how it is designed to function as well as the ceiling shape of the building.

Here are the shots of the model and how the building would look like in real life. there are two staircases that are parallel to each other, but function differently from one another. One takes you directly to the private space, while the other takes you to the community ramp. The model also highlights how the indoor tree would stand out inside the building.
