The building pictured above is designed to provide housing and sensory space for kids with sensory needs. This is done through the design of specific sensory spaces focused on sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell, and spatial understanding. These spaces are all then connected through one continuous space.

The diagram above begins to show how the various spatial objects in my building begin to interact with the overall form.

This diagram begins to show the activities available in each space. These range from instruments, to projectors, to indoor jungle gym activities.

The plans pictured above begin to show how the building begins to open up as you progress through it. This is seen especially in the second floor plan that begins to show how the building becomes one continuous form.

The circulation diagram establishes how the building begins to be used through different age groups and how these areas are broken down through ideas of public versus private circulation.

The three sections pictured above show how the building begins to connect each sensory space on the vertical plane. Additionally, what goes on in each space can begin to be pictured further.
